Knight Frank Wealth Report 2026

Knight Frank has released the 20th edition of The Wealth Report, with new data underlining the scale of India’s wealth creation. India’s UHNWI population (those with USD 30 million or more in assets) grew 63% between 2021 and 2026 to reach 19,877, and is forecast to expand a further 27% to 25,217 by 2031. The country’s billionaire count rose 58% over the past five years to 207, and is projected to climb 51% to 313 by 2031. Mumbai still anchors the picture with 35.4% of India’s UHNW population, while Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai have steadily expanded their share over the past decade.

This year’s edition also features Knight Frank’s 2026 Family Office Survey, examining how family offices are adapting their investment priorities, geographic footprint and governance models.
